Bubble Pond is a glaciated valley between Cadillac Mountain and Pemetic Mountain. The South and North Bubbles are the rounded peaks at the end of this lake. The pond is located a short distance northeast of Jordan Pond. It is a gorgeous little pond, nestled between rounded mountains, with a maximum water depth of 39 feet. Acadia National Park is a National Park located in the U.S. state of Maine. It reserves much of Mount Desert Island, and associated smaller islands, off the Atlantic coast. Originally created as Lafayette National Park in 1919, the first National Park East of the Mississippi, it was renamed Acadia in 1929.
